ENTERING K-3RD GRADE

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM: K & 1st Grades
With a focus on fun and friendship, CDC's Petite Program is the perfect opportunity for the early elementary school-age dancer to grow in confidence as they learn technique basics. Dancers have onstage performance opportunities in the Christmas Showcase and Spring Recital. Non parent accompaniment classes.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM: 2nd & 3rd Grades
Our Basic program is a two-year program where dancers will "Build" foundations in proper dance technique in addition to the fun of music and movement! Our Basic classes are perfect for trying new styles and preparing skills needed for our Graded levels. Dancers have onstage performance opportunities in the Christmas Showcase and Spring Recital. Non parent accompaniment classes.

BASIC & BASIC/JR DRESS CODE AND SHOES

BALLET: Light lavender or lilac leotard of any style

or brand, pink tights, pink canvas split sole ballet

shoes. Hair in a bun.

HIP HOP: Athletic top or tank top and leggings or

dance shorts with clean soled sneakers.

Hair in a ponytail.

JAZZ: Any solid color leotard and tan

tights or athletic top and black leggings, with tan

jazz shoes. Hair in a ponytail.

LYRICAL: Light lavender or lilac

leotard of any style or brand, pink tights with

pink canvas split sole ballet shoes.

Hair in ponytail or bun.

TAP: Athletic wear, black tap shoes. Hair in ponytail.

BOYS in Ballet/Acro/Jazz/Lyrical will wear a solid

white t-shirt and black athletic pants with black

leather ballet shoes (ballet), black tap shoes (tap),

black jazz shoes (jazz) or go barefoot (acro). Boys in

Hip Hop will wear athletic apparel and clean soled

sneakers.

dance shorts with clean soled sneakers.

JAZZ/ACRO: Any color leotard with tan tights and

tan jazz shoes.

Hair in ponytail or bun.

BOYS may wear comfortable clothing they can move

in, clean soled sneakers (hip hop), black jazz shoes

(ballet/jazz), black tap shoes (tap) or barefoot (acro).

TINY TOT DRESS CODE

Tiny Tots can wear anything they are comfortable moving around in! Leotards and tutus, tank tops and leggings, t-shirts and shorts are all acceptable attire.

Tiny Tots should have tap shoes and ballet shoes for all classes.

MINI DRESS CODE

Ballet or Ballet/Tap: Dancers will wear a light pink leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers. Hair should be up in a bun if possible. Ballet skirts welcome.

Jazz, Jazz/Hip Hop, or Jazz Funk: Dancers are welcome to wear leotards and skirts, tank tops and leggings, or t-shirts and shorts that allow for free range of movement. Jazz shoes should be worn.
