Audition Prep Workshops

All audition combinations will be taught exclusively at one of the Audition Prep Workshops held June 16 and 17, 2025 at our Anderson location.

Dancers should register for a workshop based on their 2025-2026 school grade.

TBAPetite combos (entering K-1st grades)

TBAPetite/Basic Prep class & Parent Talk - the first 30 minutes are for the dancers to learn audition etiquette such as what to wear, what they can expect, and more. Parents may join the last 15 minutes for an overview of the audition process and to ask any questions.

Dancers must register for auditions - the link to sign up and pay the audition fee will be available later in the season. Dancers should come warmed up and stretched, dressed in correct class attire, and ready to perform the combinations they learned during the workshop. The panel of staff will ask dancers to perform in various small and large groups to best assess their performance ability, technique, cohesiveness, and stage presence.

When choosing members, we follow a consistent process and consider each and every dancer carefully. Dancers see us with score sheets during the actual auditions, but what they don't see after the auditions are the many, MANY late-night hours we spend in discussions to make sure any decision made is well informed. It will take us time to get back to each person who auditions. All of you are important to us, so we ask you to grant us some grace in our response time! We anticipate having results sent out in two to three weeks after auditions.

All Intensive Program Companies are required to attend one summer intensive plus choreography boot camp during the month of August. Some dancers will be required to attend a summer ballet & tech intensive. These events are in an important start to the new season so please save these dates if planning to audition on June 19, 2025!

Driven Dance Intensive ~ August 4-8, 2025 ~ Anderson Studio

This intensive is required for all dancers cast in routines for the 2025-2026 Intensive Program Season so please save these dates if auditioning on June 19, 2025.

Technique Boot Camp ~ August 2025 ~ Anderson Studio

This ballet and jazz technique plus conditioning intensive is required for all dancers cast in jazz, lyrical and/or contemporary routines for the 2025-2026 season. More details to come. Please save these dates if auditioning on June 19, 2025.

Choreography Boot Camp ~ August 1-31, 2025 ~ Anderson Studio

These choreography blocks are required for all dancers cast in routines for the 2025-2026 Intensive Program Season so please save these dates if auditioning on June 19, 2025. We are very strict with attendance. If you have any questions, please email office@cadanceco.com. Thank you!
